A New Jet for a New Millennium

The Cessna Citation XLS is an upgrade for the well-renowned Citation Excel, able to fly farther and faster than its predecessor. This jet comes with glass windows, new avionics and new PW545B engines for increased performance. The Citation XLS can reach cruising altitude in just 18 minutes.

This Citation XLS comes with a fair share of amenities, including 110V outlets, CD player, a coffee pot, an enclosed lavatory, Freon air conditioning, ice bin, comfortable leather seats, a partial galley, and pets are allowed onboard.

Excelling in Simplicity

The Citation XLS is just one of many demonstrations of Cessna's commitment to simplicity. It sports a hot-bonded aluminum alloy frame, which reduces assembly costs. While it also slightly increases drag, the Citation XLS also has a low wing position, which greatly reduces drag.

The jet's Honeywell Primus 1000 avionics suite is easy to use, using a small number of screens that are positioned near the relevant controls, improving hand-eye coordination and flight performance.
