A New Standard

The Learjet 45 was built in the 1990s to rival the Citation XLS. To this end, Learjet began work on their first "clean sheet" design since their original Learjet 23.

The Learjet 45 is equipped with two AlliedSignal TFE731-20AR turbofan engines that give it 3,500 pounds of thrust, propelling it to up to 535 mph and as far as 1,710 nm. It also features a revolutionary anti-icing system.

This roomy jet comes with 110V outlets, an enclosed lavatory with a sink and vacuum toilet, leather seats, AirShow and a coffee pot.

From Stumbled Beginnings

The development and initial run of the Learjet 45 had some setbacks. Being a "clean sheet" design, it took much longer to develop than other Learjets. The Learjet 45 would initially face critical mechanical issues, including cracked windshields and a bad horizontal stabilizer fastener. Over time, these issues would be straightened out, and the aircraft would be praised for its reliability.

GiveJet offers the Learjet 45 and others for chartering to and from Jacksonville.
