The Citation V is Cessna's improvement over the Citation II/SP. It has a more stretched frame, allowing for more seats. It's also equipped with two Pratt & Whitney Canada JT15D5A turbofans, giving it a max speed of 495 mph.
The Citation V may be a light jet, but it is not light on amenities. It includes a 110V outlet, AirShow, DVD player, CD player, an enclosed lavatory with a sink. leather seats, linens, a microwave oven, satellite phone, mag phone, freon air conditioning, slot oven, television, warming oven, DataPort, dishware, flatware, glassware, a fax machine, ground-based Wi-Fi and pets are allowed onboard.
Around 6 years after the Citation V has been introduced, an upgraded model was created, based on it known as the Citation Ultra. It features JT15D5D engines and improved avionics.
Nevertheless, GiveJet continues to provide Citation V charters to and from Houston.
